Floors for a manufacturing hub
The large vehicle plant here brought a network of parts suppliers, logistics firms and service companies to the area. Their buildings handle forklifts, carts, fluids and heavy loads every day. At the same time, new restaurants, clinics, gyms and shops open constantly to serve the growing population. Each of these spaces has different floor needs, and the right coating system makes a real difference in safety, cleanliness and cost.
Choosing a system
We match the floor to the work:
- Warehouses and distribution: high-build epoxy with abrasion-resistant topcoats and striping.
- Manufacturing and assembly: thick epoxy or epoxy mortar for impact and chemical resistance.
- Commercial kitchens: urethane cement for hot water, grease and thermal shock.
- Clinics and labs: seamless, cleanable floors with cove base.
- Retail and showrooms: polished concrete, metallic or decorative flake.
- Gyms and locker rooms: textured flake systems that handle sweat and cleaning.
Our commercial process
We walk the space, test moisture and review existing coatings. We ask about chemicals, cleaning methods, traffic and temperatures. Then we provide a written scope with system details, thicknesses and a schedule, along with product and safety data sheets. Once approved, we coordinate access, equipment moves and work zones with your team.
Minimal downtime
Shutting down a line or closing a restaurant costs money. We phase work so part of the facility stays open, run night and weekend crews, and use fast-cure products when needed. HEPA dust extraction and plastic containment keep debris out of active areas.
Joints and transitions
Forklift wheels batter joint edges. We rebuild damaged edges and fill joints with semi-rigid material. Transitions at doors, dock levelers and drains are detailed so the coating ends cleanly and does not chip. Where floors meet walls in wet areas, integral cove base keeps water from penetrating.
Safety and compliance
We add slip-resistant aggregates where floors get wet or oily and stripe aisles, crosswalks and hazard zones in high-visibility colors. Light-colored coatings improve lighting levels. For food areas, we use systems suitable for health inspections. Documentation is provided for your safety files.
Care and recoating
Commercial floors last longest with regular cleaning using the right chemicals and equipment. We provide recommendations and can return to recoat high-wear aisles before the coating wears through, extending floor life considerably.

Restaurants and food service
New restaurants open along the main roads every year. Kitchens need floors that handle boiling water, grease, sanitizers and constant mopping. Urethane cement systems tolerate those conditions far better than standard epoxy, and we slope coatings toward drains and cove them up the walls so water cannot sneak under equipment. Dining rooms can receive decorative flake or polished concrete to match the brand.
Gyms, daycares and schools
Fitness centers, childcare facilities and private schools want seamless, cleanable floors that resist scuffs and germs. Textured flake systems give good grip for active kids and athletes, and colors can follow branding or define zones. We schedule installs over breaks and weekends so classes and memberships are not interrupted.
Auto service and dealerships
Service bays see oil, brake fluid, coolant and hot tires all day. Dealership showrooms need glossy floors that make vehicles shine. We install chemical-resistant systems in bays and decorative finishes in showrooms, often in the same building, matching colors so the space feels unified.
